Reaching out to our community and our world.

Tony Wolfe gave a presentation on the mission trip he participated on in central America. He stayed in Honduras.

David Bailey & Richard Rambo have returned from their mission trip to the Czech Republic where they taught baseball.

An offering was taken Sunday, July 13 for a local couple who lost their home to fire. Please keep them in your prayers.

If you have old magazines (NO catalogues) please bring them to the church, and put them in the annex. They will be delivered to the hospital.

The Bible Believers Sunday School class continues to make prayer quilts for people in the hospital who are sick or in surgery. They are placed in the narthex, and each time you say a prayer for that person you should tie a knot in it.

Please save your plastic butter bowls, tupperware, etc. and send for the youth. These will be used to deliver meals in for senior visitation.

The youth are in the planning stages of going on a mission trip next summer! The year-long fundraising drive for this has already begun. To kick-off the drive, the youth had a pizza fundraiser. The total profit was nearly $250!

The Eden Youth Group sponsors a child through World Vision International. Her name is Birtukan, and she is in Kindergarten. The youth also do an annual homeless mission along with 30 Hour Famine to support World Vision. If you are interested in making a donation, see Remy or Aimee. (Located below are some of the videos that have made our youth group so passionate about 30 Hour Famine)

The third Wed. of each month we participate in a bible study, games, crafts, and snack at Coalition 4 Kids.

Every other month the youth visit shut-ins and senior adults, and prepare a special meal for them and deliver it.

The months that the youth do not deliver meals, they sponsor Parent's Nite Out. It is an evening full of fun, games, crafts, and delicious snacks. Check out the children or UMYF page for the upcoming dates.
